  1. Hey, I am trying to convert a pal svcd to ntsc svcd. First I riped the mpg from the bin using vcdeasy. Next, I try to load the mpg into tmpgenc (newest version 2.511.51.160.Plus) However, I get the error message, "cannot open, or unsupported" anybody know whats going wrong here? thanks,

Cannot open the BIN. Try renaming to MPEG. It may work.

    .bin to .mpg
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

  3. I think he said that he tried to load the mpeg and not the bin.

The problem is that it is an mpeg2 stream. TMPGEnc needs a plugin to read these mpgs. It's called m2v.vfp. There's a way to install it but I can't remember how I did it right now. Just follow the instructions that come with it.

    Here's the link:

    Happy to be here.

you can also load the mpeg2 file into dvd2avi and save the project. it will create a d2v file that can be loaded into tmpgenc.
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?
