  1. Are there DVDs that cannot ve backed up using DVDBackup 1.3 for Moac OS X? I have had no problems moving DVDs to my hard drive but all of a sudden, one does not work. It fails with a "Failure to decrypt 1 title". I also tried to decode it from DVD using DVD2One for OS X but it also fails.

    Thanks, Flaffer

    Yes
its known that a select few have problems with dvdbackup

typically those will then be process fine with OSeX.
I would suggest trying the decryption process with OSeX.

    Things that bog up dvdbackup
    1. scratches
    2. dirt/fingerprints
    3. jacket_ts folders

just to name a few. Ensure that your disk is as clean as possible and if it still errors use OSeX

one last try would be to option-drag the dvd to your HD so that it copies the data to your HD, then you can perhaps have dvdbackup process that data. This method requires you have a large amount of HD space free since it is copying the dvd to the HD, then backing it up to the HD, then making the dvd2one folder. around 22-25 gigs free needed.

    hope one of these works.
