    What video editing program do you recomend and why?

    I have seen on the following
    Pinnacle DV Edition 4.5
    Pinnacle Studio 8
    Adobe Premiere 6.5
    Ulead VideoStudio 7

    any others?

    In essence they all do the same, now the question is what are u planning to use it for other than the normal.
    premiere has some very cool features that are not available with other programs so all depends what else are u planning to use it for
