Info needed

Hi!
I have a philips dvdr880,i can back up my dvds(any) to it via a specail scart lead.The problem i have is backing up movies over 2 hrs in sp mode.
I cant do it with this machine with the 4.7 discs,are they are any 9.4 discs for +rw for this philips machine?Is there a dowload i can use to increase the recording time?On the philips blank dvd+rw it states sp mode 120-150 depending on player.150 would be perfect for the movies i want to back up.
Any help would be cool,my wife got me the recorder for my birthday.
Probably not the one i would have chose but overall iam happy with it.
