  4. Screen cap shows that Ulead does not see a disk in the burner as indicated by the popup. If you have a R/W disk, try that and see if it can see it. Do you have more than one CD/DVD drive on your machine? Maybe the program is looking at the wrong drive. Sorry not much help here but looks like your getting desperate for any reply.

I would also check if other software has the same problem.
What burning package did you get with your Pioneer drive - 'RecordNow' perhaps?
Does it report the same? If not then the problem could just be with DVD Movie Factory.
If it's only DVDMF then you can just get DVDMF to 'Create Disk Image File' and use RecordNow to burn the image.

If the same problem occurs in other software then it could be the blank media you are using is not 'Pioneer friendly'.

It could also be a clash with other burning software - products like 'Easy CD Creator' are known to lock the drive off from other software packages.

You could also try to uninstall the device and let Windows auto-detect, and re-install it.

  6. I noticed in your message you said you were trying to burn a DVD+RW disk but in your screen capture the type of drive is a DVD-R.
Could that be your probelm? Try a -RW disk. I had the same problem. I thought my burner would do both and it turned out it could only do the - format.
