Super DVD Ripper, Help Please

Hi;
I am having some problems with Super DVD Ripper and am hoping that someone will be able to help me out.

The Wizard opens fine and starts to the point where you can select the longest file.

Nothing is changed in the DVD selection parameters however on pressing next I get an the following message

clicking ok takes me to the next screen which says please choose your output file clicking next I get another error message

error
decoder not ready
please choose DVD or VOB file first

clicking next I get another screen which says please choose output file

the screen size says 0 x 0, if I press video codec it says

compressor : no recomprssion

I can change this to DIVX 5.0.5 which is the codec I have on my machine but this doesn't seem to help and I still cannont change anything on the compression qualtiy or key frame or data rate which appears grayed out.
I can try to configure my codec by changing the resolution or the frame rate there doesn't seem to resolve the problem.

I can also change the screen size to the typical 720 x 480 but this also doesn't seem to help.

After clicking next here I can press start but this just takes me back to the beginning.

Does anyone know what seems to be the problem and how this can be resolved? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Well seems like no one has yet replied ,
Anyway if other people out there are having the same problem as I, I suggest you scrap the afore mentioned program and give DVDx 2.2 a shot so far this is working without a hitch.

Did you ever solve your problem? I am interested because I have exactley the same problem. I found SDVD Ripper wonderful software easy to use and fantastic quality for what I needed.
I believe this to be a registry problem and Formatting the hard drive would sove this but of course this takes time.

If you didn't what are you using now I would be interested to know. I have used DVX 2.2 but you have to use an external burning program.

Super DVD Ripper (super-dvd-ripper.com) is a simple copy of DVDx (AFAIK)... So what can you expect...

Sharpless 55,
Remove Super DVD Ripper 1.9 and Install 1.89 and hey presto no more error "please select DVD or Vob File, Decoder not Ready".
It worked for me anyhow.

this works for ver. 2.39 after patch is applied

I have downloaded and tried every torrent that claims this program is "cracked".
Seems like the nag is removed but after about 9 movie rips the program gives an error saying there is a "decoder not ready error" and " choose dvd or vob file first". I was just reistalling a backup drive image I made after installing SDVDripper to get around the 9 movie rip limit since reinstalling the app is useless. That SUCKED! After comparing system snapshots it seems all you got to do is delete "micr0st.dll" from the system 32 folder. SDVDripper will rewrite this file again but it will continue ripping!

Hope this helps all you fellow DIVX junkies.
