Can anyone tell me what is the best resolution, size and format for pictures in creating a slide show. I want the best quality, however, I don't want to use more processing resources than I have to because the slide show I'm creating is huge. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!!!

Deckedout,
I'm not claiming this to be the best way because the THE BEST is very subjective.
What I do for slide shows is scan the photos 150 dpi and crop them 352 x 240, throw them on the timeline with Ulead Videostudio 6.0, then add transistions and music. Then I render 352 x 240 MPEG-1 @ 2000 kbps for video and 160 kbps for audio burned as an XVCD with VideoStudio 6 and it plays perfectly on my Pioneer DV-343. Also, the MPEG-1 file plays just fine on just about anyone's computer. Even on an old K-6 klunker will play the file.Evil flourishes when good men do nothing.
