Can anyone help me I captured a video from my video camara using pinnacle DC10 with a composite lead everything was ok untill I decided to save the clip to a re-writable cd as an MPEG file (as I was upgrading the harddrive) unfortunately when I re-installed the video clip the display has gone from a horizontal rectangle to a verticle rectangle. I am sorry if this is a bit vague I am a little new to video recording on a PC although I've been playing with PC's for quite a while.
Hope you can help
Thanks![]()

Try to load it into a program called TMPGEnc and see what kind of aspect it has, e.g., 480 x 480, etc. It may have captured it that resolution purposely.

Ok thanks but where do I get hold of this program and where can I get a program that will convert the format back to what it was.
Thanks -
Check the Tools section at left. This program will do both.
