  1. This may seem simple but I have only used PCM before. (which works perfectly)

I have some AVI's that I have either encoded or re-encoded, and they have PCM audio.

However, to get them to work with my Qcast software, the audio needs to be either MP3 or AC3.

I'd like to get MP3 to work, but when I convert with Vdub it's out of sync, then slowly fades back into sync, then back out, etc....

I am just copying the video directly and using the Lame MP3 codec. I have already scanned the AVI for bad frames.

    Any ideas?

  2. Actually, I think I've figured it out. Under Video> Frame Rate, I set the rate of video and audio to match. Seems to have worked.

I will post if I need any more help

  3. Ok, After doing some testing, I'm still having a problem.

Now it starts out in sync and gradually gets more and more out of sync.

  6. Figured it out, I ripped the audio out with Vdub and converted separately, since Vdub was apparently making it variable bitrate instead of contstant.

    Oh, and -=Neo=-?

I point to the dictionary. Or perhaps a program with spellcheck? Hmmm?
