Hi Guys,
Currently, on average, how long does it take to burn a two hour movie to dvd? I have the new Sony DRX500ULX.
Thanks for the help!

Depends on the media and the actual data you're burning. For example, if you use half of the disk it will take half as long (a two hour movie can be encoded at different rates).
That said, for a disk filled to near capacity the external Sony should operate at the same speed as my internal Sony. At 2x DVD-R media that's around 30 minutes. 1x media is about an hour (I haven't used any 4x media based on the quality control issues as well as the fact there are external players that seem to have problems with 4x burnt disks. But I would imagine it would take about 15 minutes for such media)."Like a knife, he cuts through life, like every day's his last" -- Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
