    can someone help me with some ? i have on making some templates for TMPGEnc my DVD player only plays vcd so i have made some svcd size vcd templates for what i encode what i wont to know is what is the best way to go with bitrate ?cbr vbr 2pass stuff like that time is not that big a dill

    allso can i make templates for MainConcept and panasonic MPEG1 encoder?

    To begin your encodings, you don't have to invent your own templates. Tmpgenc comes with pre-defined VCD templates. Make a test with them and use the ones that fit you best. Also, Tmpgenc has a wizzard that will help you do the same thing without a template.

    For a VCD, you can't have VBR. Only CBR. Many DVD players will happily play the VBR videos, however it's not a bet for yours.
