Hi guess, it's been a long time since i posted here. Anyways i'm using IC7 and backing up my DVD's are a breeze. What i would like to do is back up 2 movies into 1 DVDR. I know the quality will be bad but well space is a constrain and i don't need so many DVDR's hanging around. I just wanna do this for some normal titles that aren't worth keeping them on 1 DVDR.
What i would like to do is to try and have the Menus, 5.1 and DTS audio and subs. I sorta know i have to make another title menu for the disc. But what's the best and fastest way i could do this.
Ever since i've used IC7, it's hard for me to go back to the way we used in the old days where you would hv to use CCE and all the other programs.
Thanks in advance !

This is one of the ways I've done 2 movies on 1 dvdr.
I first use dvd2one or dvd shrink to get each movie to the size that will give me totally around 4.37 gig.
Then I use vobedit to demux the movies
then use dvd menu studio to create a menu
feed all the files to dvd maestro and burn... -
I know this isn't exactly what you want, but it will definitely save you some time. http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html#joindbl

Well i guess i'll try the DVD2one out and then feed them into a new set of menus. Will see how it goes. Trying it out tonight.

I tried following a couple of different guides, but was never able to get them to work. Then I found TMPGEnc DVD Author - very easy to use.
Run your movies through DVD2ONE with the appropriate size setting, then load up the vob's in DVD Author. I didn't keep menus or extras, but you can add your own menu...
