    Helo can someybody help me with dvd-ripping.
    when i ripp a pal dvd 20fps to pal video-cd 25fps
    the motion gets jerkey (when i ripp dvd ntsc 23.9fps
    to video-cd ntsc film the motion is ok).

    well ntsc film is 23.975 fps, so it is exactly the same fps.

    but is there such thing as 20fps pal?

    Yes there is such thing as a pal 20 fps pal dvd (i have 3 of them on my harddrive now).

    I had the same problem...
    There was only a problem with DVD2AVI, I had the option "Force Film" checked, when you use "no frame ..." (it's the first option in ths menue), you get the usual 25fps film an can encode it correct.
