Hello,
In PICVideo MJPEG, in Subsampling, what's the difference between 1/1/1, 4/2/2 and 4/1/1? Which is best for high quality capture?
Also, what is the meaning of Luminance Quality and Chrominance Quality? What settings are best for high quality capture?
Take care

I've been doing extensive testing recently, in fact I captured the same one minute clip 12 times using Virtualdub and different PICVideo settings and these are the optimal settings for me.
Quality 19/20 is not noticably different than 20/20 but produces around a third of the file size.
Good luck, if you use these settings then I've just saved you hours of work/testing, I hope it's of some use
I was capturing anologue from a VHS-C camcorder buy the way but intend to use the same settings for VHS capture.
