    Hmmm...i have a problem...i tried to encode this 40-50 minute AVI file into MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 but while at around 40% the program froze and it says (Not responding)...somebody help =\

    Send a message via ICQ to Tommyknocker Send a message via Yahoo to Tommyknocker
    Run the AVI video thru Virtual Dub's Video-->Scan video stream for errors and see if you have any bad frames.

    ...And if there are bad frames then set video and audio to Direct Stream Copy, then save the Avi to get a repaired file.
