  4. The Sima Copymaster is one of the best tools for removing macrovision protection from vhs movies. I used it for about two years until I switched to dvd. I never had a film that was a problem for it. The copies were excellent. If you couldn't compare the original film and the copy side by side you wouldn't know you were watching a copied movie. Best Buy used to sell them for $50. I'm not sure if they still do. Be advised that it doesn't work on most dvds.

  5. The Sima SED-CM Copymaster is the best thing to use for removing macrovion for VHS tape's I have had one for aboutfive year's now you can get them at best buy for $50.00 dollars. It will also work for DVD to Capture card on a PC like ATI AIW or Dazzle or PVR-250. It will not work for DVD to VHS. Sime make's Sima SCC* digital color corrector and copyguard eliminator. This box is junk this one goes go for $100.00 dollars I had two of them and both broke. But the Sima SED-CM Copymaste is a must have

  6. Got my Sima yesterday.

Tested my Aliens tape. Seemed to work fine. I say "seemed" cause, it doesn't seem to work on my "Prisoner of second ave" tape.

Ive had my Sima Copymaster for about several years and it has worked perfectly everytime. It works on my DVD's too without any problems.

  8. Just ordered Sima Copymaster to try with my Sony Giga Pocket machine. If it will make Giga Pocket copy protected VHS I'll be one happy camper. Up til now Giga Pocket has been a biga pain in the ass.

  9. Just can't figure it out. Plays fine to the TV. But to the computer I get the blue screen of death. If I FFWD it I can see the picture but as soon as I hit play it's back to blue. Got to be the Macrovision. The only thing I can think off is, the tape must be damaged and the damaged macro is trucking up the works even after my Sima box.
