    Hi, just wondering how long it takes other people out there to encode a (S)VCD from a 100 minute AVI. My 1800+ takes around 3-4 hours with the motion set to slowest.

    Seems normal encoding speed...

    I did some encoding of a 30 minutes or so video with highest quality (TMPGEnc) and it took my PIII/1GHz about 3hours!!!

    Encoding in high quality just takes some time, but the result is fantastic!!!
