I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but I'll try it. I have a nVidia GeForce 2 MX 400 card w/ tv out on my computer, connected to my vcr, which is connected to my tv. My tv doesn't have composite inputs, that's why I'm using the vcr. My monitor is 17", tv is 27", so I want to watch my dvd's on the tv, but the dvd's have some protection, so I cannot project it like i want. Is there anything I can do, programs or hardware, besides converting the dvds to vcds. All my vcds work fine.
Thanks

You need a software tool either DVDIDLE or TVTOOL to bypass the copy protection. Usually if you connect the tv-out to the tv directly or to a very old vcr it's ok and you don't need to bypass anything.
Those 2 progs have trial versions. There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway. -
If your TV doesn't have any cxomposite inputs, but it does have a scart input (well, most tv's do, don't they?) then you'd better get one of those scart/composite thingies. http://www.diskidee.nl/images/s/svs_pc_op_tv_foto3.jpg
Just because you aren't paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!
