Please Help!
Whenever I try to play a MPEG2 file, WMP 6 searches for the codec on a server, doesn't find it, but then the video plays fine. This causes a lot of pointless delays. Why does it do this?
I like WMP 6 because it is simple (unlike PowerDVD), usually very fast to lauch and start playing (unlike PowerDVD), plays the video in a window which is actual pixel size (unlike PowerDVD and ZoomPlayer), and I can get information on the video size and filters in use (unlike ZoomPlayer).
I am sure that I have been able to play MPEG2 in the past using WMP without experiencing this problem.
