I have to make several copies of a DVD I made through iDVD. How many copies would you suggest I make before fiving my drive a rest? Using my 103 SuperDrive, I am planning on making 20 copies.
I just noticed I have posted like 5 new topics here tonight... Oh well. always trying to learn stuff I suppose.

I dont necessarly think there is golden rule to "when to give my drive a rest" Has anyone ever experienced a melt down or non functioning drive?? I have heard rumors of cd-rw drives which fail after 20or thirty consecquitive burns but im sure they are just rumors!
Since 20 dvd burns is going to take some time! I can see why it would be nice to to just go one after another!
I cant see why it would be a problem. You worried about heat? or errors? if your worried, just burn one and give it a few min for a "rest" period before burning the next.
who knows if rumors are true

Yeah I had heard the same kind of rumors about drives just bruning up or something, buti t was right when CD burners first came out. Also I was looking at some DVD duplicators and most of them have 105's in them, so I figured what the heck, if duplicators have them it must not do too much.
