Is there any particular software that can bypass the copyright codes? Does DVD X Copy offer this?

I take it you mean copying a dvd to your computer. If this your question then the answer is yes there are numerous applications that offer this functionality. Two of the most popular being dvd decrypter and smartripper

what i really want to do is make a backup of an existing DVD I have. And if it is copyright protected, will these applications allow me to successfully burn them?
