  2. Do a search for your Cap card in the MSI forums.

  3. I've got the same card. You don't like the software? Other than the fact it doesn't cap over 4 gigs, I like it.
    Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.

  4. Got this off the forum.

    I had problems with the file split size as well but got around it by hacking the registry. If you go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/INTERVIDEO/WINDVR/FILE , you will see the file split size is set to 4GB. I changed it to the file size I wanted and it worked. The downside to this is every time you switch profiles, you have to change it in the registry.

    Don't know if it works.

  6. I opened this file with Notepad "Record Profile".

    At this location

    "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\InterVideo\WinDVR"

    When you open it you get this.

    [PROF_0]
    ProfName=VHS to DVD
    ProfId=2003414105649406
    ProfComments=
    ProfLocked=0

    VideoFrameRate=4
    VideoAspectRatio=2
    VideoFormat=2
    VideoMPEG2=1
    VideoBitRateMode=1
    VideoBitRate=9500
    VideoPeakBitRate=9570
    VideoVbvBufferSize=112

    VideoMotionVectorH=0

    DnScScaleDown=3

    [PROF_MGR]
    PROF_NUM=1
    SEL_PROF_ID=2003414105649406

    If I change the FileBoundary #, that works. As long as you don't edit it again in the MSI program, otherwise you will have to do it over again.
