Probably just your disk. I got it no problem with DVD decrypter and DVD2one.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  4. as racer-x said, it is almost certainly the "disk." Try to clean it with a cd/dvd cleaning solution. People ask this type of question very often and it has nothing to do with a particular movie, but rather, an issue with that particular disk being scratched or damaged. Most of the time, a cleaning solution will allow the disk to be fully ripped. Sometimes the scratch is so bad that nothing will work.

With a movie like "Chamber of Secrets" you have more of a chance of an error ripping the "main movie" because there is only 1 PGC on that disk, which is like 7 GB's, so if you have a scratch, the percentages are heavily in favor of the scratch affecting the main movie.

  6. you could also try ripping it in your dru500. I just had the exact same problem with band of brothers and I thought it was the disc which it usually is. but then I got the same disc from a friend and it froze at the same point 52%. So I threw it in my dru500 and it ripped fine.
