    Anybody heard of and/or used Optimum dvd media?

    I am a newbie to DVD writing and just purchased NEC 1100A. Bought a 10 pack of +R at Staples for $25 (with a $5 rebate).

    I know they are cheapos, thought I'd buy and you guys say they suck, I'll just return them.

    Sure cheapos should work i use them all the time but it depends on the type of writer you got I have the sony 500a

    Sorry, I did some more research and Optimum is not the brand name. Looks like the discs I have are made by Khypermedia.

    Seems this brand has been used successfully.
