I have a DVD of a live concert, and the audio has a good deal of hiss. I'm curious to see how well a hiss reduction filter in Cool Edit or something would work on that audio. If it works fairly well, I want to reburn the DVD with the edited audio. What's the best way of doing this?
I would think using TMPGEnc to de-multiplex the .VOB files to mpeg2 and .wav files, then editing the .wav's, then multiplexing them back together. Is it that simple? I looked through the settings in TMPGEnc in the de-multiplexing tool, and there isn't an option for .VOB files for the "input" field.
Thanks in advance.
