I am trying to find out if this is at all possible - I am burning dvd-r's onto the Pioneer DVR-7000 unit....I am wanting to know if it is somehow possible to take the dvd-r and capture it to a computer, and take a program to create chapter markers and nice menus ? Can you somehow capture to the hard drive directly from an internal dvd drive without having to capture externally from the Pioneer unit ? I have never done any of this before, so I am not sure what can be done...??? If I am off base, or in the wrong section, please excuse my ignorance to this subject...
THANKS !

Yep, you can copy the video to your hd from a dvd-rom/dvd writer drive and recreate a new DVD. Some tools directly supports this like Ulead Moviefactory and TMPGEnc DVD Author, you open the video from the DVD and then you can add new menus and also new video and then burn it to a new DVDR/W. But then you have to have a computer dvd writer.
