    I'm trying to convert an avi (divx) file to a Vcd.
    Bitrate 1150 is ok for me. I used the TMPGenc encoder:
    the quality of the image is good but there are little "jumps" every 1/2 second. This is independent of the motion search precision. Clearly, the divx file has no problems. Can anyone help me?

    Do you use the same framerate as in the divx source? because for example 25 fps to 29,97 fps can cause jumpyness and so.
