I am using Smartripper, DVDx and VCDEasy to make VCD's from my DVD's. I am losing an awful lot of Hard Drive space and cannot for the life of me figure out where these files are being generated or stored. Can someone please give me an idea or an idea of where to start looking...
I don't want to delete some file(s) that may be important to my computer..

your file drive is being filled up because when you rip a dvd, you strip everything from the disc onto your hd, that means the vob files (which are usally around 3-4 gigs,) ifo etc etc...just go to options and look for default location or or something of that sort to find out where the folders are..holla

do a Google search for Sequoia View, it's a software that will display all your files like little blocks, the bigger the block, the bigger the file.
If you have large files taking up space on your system, you can see them easily.
it's freeware and quite good.

Thanks to both of you... I am not sure if I was initially reading the Properties info wrong... but I do have room on my hard drive after all...
