  1. Hello,
have a question for you all. I have a pioneer A05 nad have been using the Ritek 1X dvd-r media. (silver tops)
They work great for playstaion 2 back-ups (of my originals) but when i back-up any dvd's the endings to all of them get REALLLLY jumpy (seem to be anything over 3.7 gig's or so...
I had hear dthese were good media to use...am i mistaken ??

Also, if it jumps around in 1 dvd player..could it work OK on another

(i have a ps2 that i use to watch my dvd's , if i try them on a stand alone, would I get better playback

All in all..my question is, what media should i use, and where id the bestr place to get it..thanks

Have bought same media from Meritline and burn near edge with only about 30MB left open (approx. 4.34GB) at 2X and all work great in my Pioneer standalone player. One backup did pixulate near end on my friends panasonic. Did a few more tests and it was only that one movie.

  3. I have a pioneer A05 too and I think the Ritek G03 and G04 disk are the best CHEAP disk available. I have had no problems burning over 4.2 GB of data/movies.
