Hi
I am trying to make a VCD/DVD with episodes of 24(VCD).
I de multiplex(tmpeg) them and convert the audio to 48000khz(besweet ssrc) so that I can author them with spruce maestro. When watching the finished dvd compiled to my HDD some(not all) of the episodes go gradually out of sync.Since then I have tried to figure out the problem using one of the trouble episodes, but everything I try fails.
So I need help. the VCDs are NTSC 29fps
thnx

...and what is your source material? Is it also 29 fps? If not, the desync is certainly caused by frame rate conversion.

Also, if I de-multiplex them in tmpeg then, multiplex them back imediately after, without adjusting them whatsoever. The resulting newly multiplexed file is out of sync.

TMPGEnc only promises to handle mpegs created with TMPGEnc correctly - specially when muxing! If the mpeg is encoded with something besides TMPGEnc, the result is unpredictable at best...
