    hi all!
I've done my first vcd coversion and is playing on my dvd player ok.... but i'm still botherd... cuz in the instructions on the pictures it shows that in the "Expert setting for source"

    Video type: non-interlace
Field order: Top field first (field A)
    Aspect ratio: 1:1 (VGA)

    Content of video: Film movie

But the setting on mine are different... its like this...
    Video type: Interlace
Field order: Bottom field first (field B)
    Aspect ratio: 4:3 525 line (NTSC, 704x480)

    Content of video: video movie

and in the other setting the instrucition says to put in to "full screen (keep aspect ratio) for the Video arrange Method but i put mine into just "full screen" cuz it already says that and my i dont touch my setting cuz i thought they were automatic but even if i select "NTSC Film" like in the instrucitions it still has those settings.... now my question is, is this ok? cuz it plays on my dvd player just fine... or should i change the settings to make it exaclty like in the instructions?

My checked and my video source is 29,97 frames/sec (FPS)

    thanks so much!

What ever is shown after you load the video file should be fine, except, Aspect Ratio, you should set this to whatever ration the source is. ie widescreen source then set it to 16:9

Finally, for the Video Arrange Method you should select Full Screen(Keep A R)
If you are doing 4:3 movies then Fullscreen is OK but if you have a 16:9 movie, Full Screen will stretch the picture vertically but leave the sides untouched so the picture looks stretched. Fullscreen(Keep A R) will stretch a 16:9 in all directions evenly until the sides of the picture are as wide as possible without going off the screen. This leaves black bars top and bottom though (which is fine).

No Margin(Keep A R) will stretch a 16:9 evenly in all directions until the top and bottom of the picture is at the edges of the screen, down side is the sides get cut off to keep the aspect ratio correct.

    I think it is right.
    Does this help?
