What would be the easiest way to turn a 16x9 letterbox video into a 16x9 widescreen video, but have the best results? I know something that is really easy doesn't usually give the best results, but... I don't really care if it's anamorphic, because I've got a widescreen TV - the TV has a zoom feature that will turn any standard program into a 16x9, but then it has to zoom in, and you can really see the difference in quality. The source is a 29.97fps avi file in 480x480, that is telesinced. I really want to keep the 480 height resolution, because it looks better on my TV than 240. What programs/procedure would you recommend? Is the clip frame feature in TMPGEnc good? Or would you recommend using a program like VirDub to clip the file, then resize it? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance![]()
