Have a Philips DVDr 980 and i have incured a problem.
I baught the player (Second Hand) and it all worked Excellant(Record & Play) untill the other day.
I just turned the player on (Disk was still in player) to record a programe off the TV.Nothing Happend!
I looked at the display screen and it is displaying "AB FF DOE6".
I have checked the manual to see what this code means, but it doesnt mention anything. I have also tryed holding the eject & stop button whilst turning the player on, NOTHING.
The power light just stays GREEN and NO buttons function. So basically the player is doing nothing.
PLEASE PLEASE can anybody help, as i dont have a warranty with this player. So if you KNOW or MIGHT KNOW what this code AB FF DOE6 Means can you please let me know. THANX![]()
