VDUB Wont Let Go Of My Files!!!

Why is it when I used this program, it wants to keep all files it has touched in use even when they arent loaded up?

I take some digicam avi movies, convert them to divx then want to delete or move the original, low and behold, the PC thinks it is still open or being used by another person. I now have dozens of files this way. How do I release them?

Thanks much. The reg edit worked and now I can delete my files.

However, I am still having trouble capturing from the PC screen. When I go to save the file, it gives a similar error as in files being used by another person or program. Is this related at all?

How are you doing this? using the print screen key or some capture app?

I am using a vid. screen capture program like Hypercam. It wont save after the capture, says video file is already in use.
