  1. I am wondering if it is possible to do a DTS to AC3 conversion since I would like to get the audio file down in size? Have anyone ever done this and how?

sure, extract the dts audio to wav , re-encode to ac3 , lose a lot of quality ..

why not keep it as dts ?

I cant understand either. I have a dvd scorpion king and has dts and ac3, the dts sound just kills ac3. Is there anything good except the size to conevrt to ac3?

  4. I actually want to keep the DTS sound but since the original ac3 on the dvd is only 2channel I was thinking about making a 6channel ac3 and use that one as well as the DTS.
