  1. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this before. My Sont DRU500 external drive won't eject after a burn using DVDDecrypter. If I turn it off/on, it ejects. Just started doing this today. This started after installing CoverXP, although I doubt that would cause this.

if you open my computer, right click the drive and press eject does it work? if so then DVDdecrypter is leaving the drive locked for some reason, if not, then it's.......something else.

  3. I sometimes also have the same problem after burning a DVDR with DVD Decrypter. Though I have not tried to actually isolate when the problem occurs and when it does not, as I recall it occurs sometimes if after I finish the burning I close down DVD Decrypter and then launch WinDVD4 to watch the DVDR that I have just created. It will play fine, but then the DVD won't eject...and won't eject even by the right click method described above. On the other hand, I think that if I immediately try to eject the DVDR without first playing it then the ejection works ok. One thing that would be good to see is an automatic eject option after burning with DVD Decrypter...though I have to confess that I have not looked at the program to see if that option exists or not. By the way, I have a NEC 1100A DVD+R writer. I also have another DVD ROM drive and the latter will continue to work properly even when the DVD Writer drive will not eject.

  4. I'll try the right-click eject thing next time I use the program if I can't eject again. After I finished with DVDDecrypter, I made a disc with Nero, after it finished, it ejected fine on it's own. I ended up updating my VIA drivers and rebooting a few times for various reasons, hopefully rebooting fixes it.
