  1. ok, i read what was posted, but could not find why a VCD with only regular pal 352-288 at 1150 kb/s and audio 44000 - but with chapers - end up with colored squares, then audio bursting peeks, then finally crashin the player.

tried 48000 but of course the result is terrible...

I create the mpeg with TMPGEnc using VCD Pal template, then the bin/cue with vcd easy, final burn it with nero. I even trie ulead DVD MovieFactory 2... even worse.

There are so many things which could be wrong, like burning speed, ISO, chapters... but i'm tired of spoiling cd...

any idea greatly appreciated, cause i'm stuck!

  2. The first thing you need to test is whether or not your player can read your particular brand of CD-R media well.

Burn an audio CD on the same media and see how well it plays.

  3. Thx Michael..

I don't have any more of these media... for obvious reasons; the brand was 700 MB CD-R from imation.

I bought some CD-RW650 from TDK and will do what you suggested first.

You mean copying (with NERO) an audio CD? or making a fresh new one?

    thank you for your help.

  4. Um... either way...

Just make an audio CD onto the CD-R/W media you want to test (copy an existing audio CD or make your own compilation if you want to).
