  1. I was very happy with my new Divx player, I found it much better then winmedia players until I was given a movie that it could only play video, no sound. I got a error saying need tag 85 codec. I tried using Gspot to find the codec and it said it is already installed on my harddrive.

What do I need to do to get this to work?

  8. I downloaded and installed ac3 codec and it still didn't work with the sound. I get the same error with divx 2.1 player.

    The movie format is :

    DivX 4 (OpenDivX) video
    0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Lay audio
    Avi type

I used Gspot for this info. Also do I need to change any settings in ac3 codec?
