  2. Are you using the latest version? What Pinnacle are you using?
It needs to authored first. Then you can burn with Nero. If it's to large, try DVDshrink.

  3. If you are talking about Instantcopy... Try this...

Read "rpboy" post and install recorder update. It worked for me and maybe it will for you too.

  4. Thanks fro you help.
i'm using Pinnacle Studio 8 version 8.5.21 ( it should be the last one) to author the movie and Pinnacle InstanCopy for burning. Pinnacle Studio shoud have the possibility to burn directly onto DVD but this option is not active as it cannot find my DVD Writer. What I can Do is only to make DVD image on my Hard disk and try toburn later with InstantCopy or Nero, but.......here the funny....with Instancopy after reading tracks it gives me an error and i cannot burn the image created and with Nero it burns but my three different DVD player cannot read the disk.

I tried this link as suggested (http://www.vob.de/us/Downloads.htm) but the page cannot be displayed....

Is there any way to burn on a DVD an Mpge2 file (It is the only I can save my film)

  5. Why don't you try one of these ASPI drivers?

  7. I was finally able to burn my movie. I don't understand how it is possible but i was able to burn but the image (.Vob and . IFo file) created by Pinnacle Studio 8.5.21 on my HD. Pinnacle instancopy, Studio and Nero are not able to create dvd my player can recognize so in the end i tried with Copyto DVD and it works.

The entire process i'm force to go with (untill i found a way for Studio to see my dvd writer) is the following:

1)Create and Author the movie with Pinnacle Studio 8.5.21
    2) Make an image of the DVD on my Hard disk with Pinnacle Studio
    3) Burn the DVD with CopytoDVD

If I want to copy a DVD this is the only way I can proceed:

    1) Rip the movie with DVD Decripter on my HD
    2) re arrange with Pinnacle Instancopy
    3) Burn with CopytoDVD or InstantCopy

    Still problems burning with Nero.

Thanks for the link and suggestions. The comparison between all software is really useful

  8. Thanks for the link Donpedro. It was really useful. There is a question on Pinnacle Studio I would like to ask you, as it seems you have a lot of experience. I'm creating a menu for my DVD which will contain the movie and some photo. I would like to have the first page of the DVD menu showing these two options (i.e. Film and photo), If I select photo it will show you all pictures inserted in the DVD, If I selcet film it should go to another menu page with the thtre chapter of my movie.

    here my questions:

    1) How can I create a menu with these two pages?!? It seems that I can only inlcude one page menu that works fine, not two linked togheter..

    2) How Can I insert in the dvd all photos avoiding the authomatic slide show, maybe with a next button??

    Thanks

  9. 1) You can create 2 menus and link them so one of the buttuns will lead you to another menu.

    2) Slideshow is actualy video that is created from still pictures... So I don't think thta you can do what you need. Only workaround will be to create multiple menus. But I believe that there is some limit.
