I am not affiliated in any way but I thought I would drop a link. I started using this program to catalog my collection a couple weeks ago and it is awesome. You just type in the bar code (or name, etc) of the DVD and it downloads everything about it including the jacket. You can then browse through your collection by various keys (i.e. actor, director, etc.), create a web site automatically, and create reports. The reporting is great for creating a coffee table book with all your movies for guests. It has other features that I have not used yet like keeping track of loaners.
Give it a try:

I downloaded this program last Thursday and introduced my wife to it.
I thought I was going to enter all the DVDs we have into the program. Was I wrong!!
The program is so simple and fast to use, that she sat down that night and entered about 30 DVDs in a very short time. I had to pry her away from the computer.
This past weekend, she entered every storebought DVD we have, which according to DVDProfiler is 221.
This is a great program even if you don't buy the premium edition.
Will recommend DVDProfiler to everyone I know. -
I need a cheap barcode reader, it would make inventory a whole lot easier
I used to used Ant Movie Catalog, it has IMDB import options, but Profiler is just better in every way.
