I have an AVI video file that freezes when I try to encode to MPEG with TMPGEnc. I have run it through Virtual Dub which picks up some of the freeze points but after editing and deleting the dodgy frames the resulting file still freezes in TMPGEnc and the MPEG result plays upto a point with the video, freezes, but the audio continues unaffected.
The original AVI seems to play perfectly fine past the point that the MPEG freezes on so is there any reason why VDub is not picking up on these frames or can settings in TMPGEnc be changed to decrease sensitively to allow it to skip past these points?
Any help would be appreciated.
