How can I convert a smaller mpeg1 such as this (160x112) to a VCD stream (320x240) without enlarging or "blowing up" the image.
I basically want to retain the 160x112 size in the middle of the screen and create a black box around it to reach the 320x240 size is this possible???

If you want to do this for any odd reason, select at the TMPG advanced tab video arrange method "center(costom size)"
160x112 pixels. Load a VCD template or set resolution at the video tab to 352x240. -
Am I wrong, or would the conversion to vcd make the resulting image "soft" or less quality than the original seeing the original is smaller. If not, then there is no reason for me to try and create this border. Does the vcd encoding take this into account and interpolate it in some sort?
Thanks
