Nero question....

how come when the wizard opens up and asks what type of media I'd like to burn..........I can't choose DVD????

I don't know what I need to do. Am I missing some drivers???

What do you start ? Nero Express or Nero ?

In Nero go to Recorder>Choose Recorder and make sure your DVD writer is selected.If that doesn't help go to http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#c1023694368810and d/l wnaspi32.dll and copy to Nero folder.If all else fails d/l latest Nero update www.nero.com

the winaspi32.dll is already there, I can choose the recorder, but I don't have the option for dvd, just vcd and svcd. I have the latest version. Anything else you can think of??

Can't you change that thing on the left top from CD to DVD ?

I don't know. I upgraded from 5.5.9.9 to 5.5.10.7 and it worked fine. I don't know what the problem was. I think the aspi drivers might have been missing. Then they were put in when I upgraded, which is odd. I thought they were in 5.5.9.9.

Or your burner was not supported in version 5.5.9.9...
