I have iMovie 3.02 and I remember with iMovie 2 that if you emptied the trash you're project will get corrupted. Has this major problem been fixed with iMovie 3? This is a very important video I'm editing so I want a 100% positive answer please!
thanks,
MCV

I always empty the trash in iMovie 2 and I've never <knock on wood> seen a corrupted project file.
...but as this is possible, I have always made backups by duplicating the iMovie project folder in the Finder. -
I guess I'll just fork over some dough to buy a extra harddrive (80 gig I think) and back it up. I never really like iMovie 3 as much as 2. In 2 no matter how many clips you had in the clip pane, or how long the vid was, it was always very fast. But now in 3 if I click anywhere in the video, (play, stop, select a clip, etc) it takes 10 seconds to do it. Does any one have any suggestions? Maybe the problem is that I only have 5.17 gigs left......
thanks,
MCV
