    hey...i have a philips dvd 957 it had the firmware 8.05... then i downloaded an upgrade 9.28 (quess that was the wrong one!!)...
    & boy did it go WRONG!!!!!
    at first it looked as if everything was going sweet... but after it finished.... well i dont know how to explain this but when i power up.. the display shows some REAL weird signs.. like it's from another planet or something??... & NOTHING works... does anybody got an idea of what to do??........

    Can you flash it back to firmware 8.05? If so, I'd try that.
