Hello
can someone help me please...
After authoring I can see that PC screen shows everything correctly but TV screen always misses left and right side and top and bottom side of safe area by authoring...
About few frames is cutted off.
Can someone tell me why by authoring on pc screen everything is fine and after burning TV screen shows incorrect picture of movie...
How to change this so TV will show everything like Pc screen?
I tried to setup playback on my dvd player too but still the same 4:3 or 16:9 still missing part of my authored picture on TV....
I tried DVDit PE 252, dvd workshop1.2,ulead dvd movie factory 2..all of these are doing it........
thanks for help

I believe that problem that you have is called "overscaning". Try search on that. In short. There is always part of video that you can't see on TV.
Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home) -
When using the 4:3 aspect ratio the TV you have actually cuts off about 5-10% of the actual picture. Professional monitors will be able to display the entire picture, but the common television set will not. IF you are using a widescreen mode 16:9 the tv will display everything that is in the picture without cropping any off.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but it may be the same problem I and several others are/were having. I posted my solution to it at this thread:

Hope it helps.
