Once again I am fussing about with these annoying Xvid's. There are two on my hard drive right now. One plays fine in media player, and the other the audio leads the video by .5 second or more. The tag line when downloading said blahblahblah-XviD-CFH.avi What is CFH? Any ideas to help straighten this out?

CFH is the ....ummmmm....'group' that released the video. A constant .5 sec audio lead/lag is an easy fix.
Remember, 1/2 of downloaded AVI's are pure crap (more like 80%, depends on your tastes). Newbs encode things so 'they have something to trade', quality means nothing since they may never actually watch it. P2P with multiple d/l's (kazaa/Gnuttella) tend to cause files to corrupt (especially with the 98 IP stack involved).
