  1. I have many avi movies which (divx) have frozen frames in them. I planning on deleting these frames with VirtualDub, but is there any way to find these frozen frames quickly, without actually watching the entire film to discover it freezes at certain points? Bear in mind, that in one move it freezes at the 30min mark, then plays fine, then freezes again at the 1hr 51 min mark again. I want to find all the frozen frames at once not the first one I come to.

    THANX.

There is a VirtualDub version called VD MP3, with a an option for checking frozen frames. All bad frames will be logged in C:\badframes.log

  3. I have Vdub MP3 Freeze thingy, but what do I do to have that bad frame checker activated? And do you mean they get put in a log file called c:\unzipped\virtualdub\*.log

Unzipp the VD mp3 freez in a dir. Start it and load your .avi file. Click on Video >> Check for freezes. Let it check that file. After the check all frozen frames will be in C:\badframes.log (not c:\unzipped\virtualdub\*.log)
