I'm capturing (or trying) from a Tivo through my DV Camera to my Laptop.
Im getting close to 2000 dropped frames in a 1 hour show. (60000 frames)
I've never had this problem before. usualy like less than 40 dropped per hour
I got an external Disk to capture to, so the swapfile & os wouldn't interfear.
I'm capturing with Ulead DVD Workshope.
What can I try?
Thanks,
gNOME

It works fine if I capture directly to the internal HD.
But it only has 3gig free.
If I try to capture directly to the external drive the video breaks up, there are squeeks in the audio and many many dropped frames.
AAAGGGGGRRRRRRR!!!!!
