I want to convert a 23,976 movie DivX to SvcD using virtualdub and tmpgenc. I frameserv and add sub via virtualdub to tmpgenc. In tmpgenc I set framerate to pal (25fps). In Virualdub I have tryed diffrent settings to get around this problem. I have done this many times with no prob. Any ideas??

it's very easy to encode in 2 steps
1š must encode video -load *.avi in vdub / in VIDEO change fraterate to 25 and then frame serve (movie.vdr)
open tmpeg without close vdub and load the movie.vdr and encode using your template (only video) (try KVCD template)
video itīs done.
2š using vdub open *.avi and save audio (direct stream copy)
to encode audio must 1š use Besweet to make (audio.wav) ntsc2pal (23.976 to 25fps) and then using tmpg to encode to *.mp2
after just multiplex *.m2v and *.mp2 to finalmovie.mpg
so you canīt do video and audio at same time to avoid de-sync

The thing is that I have done this in on step before without this problem. 23.976 divx ->pal SvcD in tmpg. But I try this way. Cant I extract a CBR wav and convert it to 25fps and frameserv with 25fps to tmpg??
